As our business continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced Management Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career.Reporting directly to our Chief Executive Officer, this role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, payroll, cashflow management, systems optimisation and commercial decision-making, with a genuine pathway to becoming our future Financial Controller.About the RoleThis is a hands-on position where you'll work across all aspects of the finance function while partnering with leaders throughout the business to provide meaningful financial insights and support.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing month-end journals, reconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsAssisting with monthly management reporting and financial analysisCoordinating payroll and ensuring legislative complianceManaging bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintaining cashflow forecasts and supporting financial schedulesSupporting budgeting, forecasting and project costingDriving continuous improvement across finance systems and processesWorking with Xero and integrated business systems,



including AI-enabled finance processesProviding financial support to operational managers across the business.About YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys improving processes just as much as producing accurate financial reports.You'll bring:A Degree in Accounting, Commerce or similarMinimum five years' experience in a Management Accountant or Senior Assistant Accountant roleStrong experience with month-end reporting, payroll, reconciliations, budgeting and forecastingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailStrong systems capability and confidence working with technologyA proactive approach and continuous improvement mindsetExperience within construction, mining, contracting or project-based industries will be highly regarded.Why Join GeoDrill Australia?
