With a substantial property and asset footprint, ongoing capital investment and a commitment to operational excellence, this is an exciting prospect to make a tangible impact across a diverse and complex facilities portfolio while growing your career with a leading hospitality group.About the RoleReporting to senior leadership, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing facilities operations, asset management, contractor performance, compliance maintenance and capital planning across the Bankstown Sports Group.This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic planning with hands‐on operational management.
You will lead a dedicated facilities team while ensuring our venues remain safe, compliant, efficient and well‐maintained.Key responsibilities include:Leading the Facilities Management Department across seven venues and the Flinders CentreOwnership of all asset registers and associated capital replacement strategiesManaging preventative, reactive and statutory maintenance programs across all sitesLeading annual budget preparation, capital forecasting and cost‐control initiativesManaging tender processes, contract negotiations and service agreementsEnsuring contractor compliance and overseeing contractor management processesDriving service delivery standards and operational excellence across the portfolioLeading minor refurbishments,



capital replacement projects and facilities upgradesWorking closely with operational stakeholders to ensure facilities support business objectivesSupporting ESG initiatives and sustainability projects across the GroupActing as the key escalation point for facilities‐related issues and after‐hours reactive maintenanceAbout YouYou are an experienced Facilities leader who thrives in a complex, multi‐site environment.
You combine strong technical and commercial expertise with proven leadership capability and a passion for continuous improvement.To be successful in this role, you will have:Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior Facilities Management roleTrade qualification, Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering or a related discipline is highly desirableExperience managing multiple sites within hospitality, retail, commercial property or similar environmentsStrong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, preventative maintenance and contractor managementDemonstrated experience managing operational and capital budgetsProven ability to negotiate and manage service contracts and maintenance agreementsStrong financial acumen with experience identifying and delivering cost‐saving initiativesExcellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skillsSound understanding of WHS requirements, contractor compliance and risk management practicesStrong problem‐solving, planning and organisational skillsCurrent driver's licenceRSA and RCG Competency Card, or willingness to obtainWhy Join Us?
