With a strong focus ongenerous hospitality, warm service, and connection to the community, we welcome ourcustomers not as guests, but as family.We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-timebasis.Key Responsibilities:Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displaysDetermine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely deliveryEstimate amounts and costs of required supplies, including food and ingredientsCollaborate with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to plan and develop recipes andmenus, considering seasonal availability and customer demandSupervise and instruct cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, andpresentation of dishesInspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with operationalstandardsManage stock ordering, stock rotation, and wastage control, and assist with purchasing andpricing of goods within budgetTrain and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality and operationalAssist in managing food costs and labour costsPerform rostering and shift management dutiesEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety (OH&S;), HACCP guidelines,



andfood safety standardsMonitor sanitation practices and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environmentTo be considered for this role, you must have:At least 1 year of experience in a similar Chef roleRelevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentStrong communication and team management skillsExperience managing food safety procedures and documentationRostering and stock ordering experienceSound understanding of OH&S; and food safety requirementsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressureA calm and professional attitude during busy service periodsAvailability to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shiftsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.This is a full time position based in Lindfield, NSW.If you are passionate about quality food, hospitality, and working in a supportive teamenvironment, we would love to hear from you.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
