McCosker Contracting is seeking a Software Developer to join our team working in our Brisbane office.About the role:Monday to Friday roster42 hours per week12 month contract, with potential for ongoing workThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the internal business systems that support McCosker's operations.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team of IT professionals, building and integrating software solutions that improve the efficiency and reliability of technology across the business.To be successful you will have:Experience developing web applications using Next.js and ReactExperience building back-end services and APIs using Node.jsExperience writing and optimising SQL queries and working with relational databasesExperience using Git for version controlExperience using Docker for building and deploying applicationsExcellent understanding of software development principles and best practiceAble to effectively communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholdersThe following skills / experience will be highly advantageous:Experience managing MSSQL databasesExperience integrating with or supporting ERP systemsExperience scripting with PowerShellKnowledge of the civil construction industryAbout you:Critical analysis and problem-solving skillsUse of confidentiality,
