Bertas is a quick-paced, high-volume deli in Marrickville, focused on quality, consistency, and doing sandwiches exceptionally well.
We’re looking for a chef who can handle pressure, move with urgency, and consistently maintain high standards in a busy service setting.
What you’ll be doing:
Preparing fresh and cooked items
Working across fresh, grill, and fryer sections during service
Maintaining consistency and quality across all food
Assisting with daily opens and closes
Working closely within a small, tight-knit team
What we’re looking for:
Experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Robust work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Clear communication and a team-first mindset
A genuine love for sandwiches (you’ll be making a lot of them)
