Overview

As a Solution Architect , you will provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of software solutions. Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure that solution architecture aligns with business needs, IT best practices, and long-term strategic goals. This is a hands-on and cooperative role that requires both strong technical capability and stakeholder management.

Base pay range

A$160,000.00/yr - A$175,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solution architectures
Translate customer requirements into actionable technical solutions
Lead the technical design process across all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
Prepare and deliver customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical documentation
Provide effort estimations for proposals and support presales activities
Support architectural governance, peer reviews, and risk management
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment and delivery

About You




Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience in solution or software architecture within complex enterprise environments
Robust understanding of SOA, cloud computing (Azure preferred), integration, and enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
Experience in presales, software demonstrations, and responding to RFIs/RFPs
Technical proficiency across .NET, databases, infrastructure, and cloud platforms
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with CAD/Mobile Computing or public safety software
Familiarity with Agile and Scaled Agile Frameworks
