Technical SEO Specialist

Role Summary

Matrix Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Technical SEO Specialist to join our growing team. This full time position is ideal for a skilled with robust technical SEO knowledge and a passion for improving website performance, search visibility, and user experience. You will work alongside developers and digital marketing professionals to deliver technical optimisation strategies that support business growth.

Core Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and identify website optimisation opportunities.
Analyse website architecture, crawlability, indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices across multiple websites.
Collaborate with developers to resolve technical SEO issues and improve website performance.
Monitor organic search performance and prepare regular SEO reports.
Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to support SEO strategies.
Maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, structured data, and other technical SEO elements.
Keep up to date with search engine algorithm changes and recommend appropriate improvements.

Essential Skills




Previous experience in Technical SEO or a related digital marketing role.
Strong understanding of website architecture, indexing, crawling and on-page optimisation.
Experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics and recognised SEO tools.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is highly regarded.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Full working rights in Australia or legal eligibility to work in Australia.

Working With Us
Full-time permanent position.
Monthly salary ranging from AUD 7,500 to AUD 9,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
