We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team at Pacific Fertiliser in the Burleigh Heads office.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and effective supply of products to our customers.
This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our growing business.
What you'll be doing
Hand on management and coordination of the manufacturing and distribution operations
Assisting with problem solving and devising solutions on the run, to minimise downtime
Develop and implement strategies to optimise productivity, cost-efficiency and quality control.
Within fast paced business.
Lead and motivate a team of production, maintenance and logistics personnel
Analyse operational data, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Collaborate with other departments to align operations with the overall business objectives
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation
Travel will be required to effectively manage our operating sites
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience in an operations management role, preferably within the manufacturing,



fertiliser, crushing or bulk commodity operations
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven insights
Good knowledge of heavy equipment, suppliers & repairers
Proficient in the use of MS office and data analysis tools
Tertiary qualification in engineering, operations management or a related trade is highly desirable
Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
