Based at Wetherill Park and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the primary objective of the role is to fault find and proactively repair machinery and conduct preventative maintenance to enable the production team to produce high quality products.Available shiftsDay shift - 6:00am to 2:00pmNight shift - 10pm to 6amOvertime may be available on weekends when required based on operational requirements.Key responsibilities and duties:Participate in and undertake day to day maintenance activities across the siteConduct preventative maintenance according to site requirementsTroubleshoot mechanical issues and find solutions to minimise downtime in productionDisassemble, assess, repair and reassemble machine equipment and provide estimated duration of time for repairMaintain hydraulic ,



Pneumatic and mechanical equipment as per safety and operational standardsPerform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication when requiredConduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring following up on identified actionsResponding to any breakdowns and emergency repairs as requiredUpdate and maintain data records on work carried out via CMMS (MEX)Adhere to Safety and Quality requirements onsiteAbout you and your skills:Mechanical Trade certificateMinimum 3 years' experience working in Food Manufacturing or FMCGWorking knowledge of CMMS (MEX preferred)Demonstrated experience in MIG/TIG Welding/ FabricationAbility to work autonomously and within a teamSound verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety standardsDemonstrated experience in problem solvingForklift and working at heights licence is desirableMust have full working rightsPermanent, full-time position with job security.Work in a dynamic and supportive workplace.
