FITTER MACHINIST - $45PH

We have a great prospect for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join a well-established mechanical workshop. This is a permanent workshop-based role offering consistent Monday to Friday hours and wide-ranging hands-on fitting, machining and repair work.

WHAT'S ON OFFER:
$45ph + super
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Limited overtime available
100% workshop-based role
Stable, ongoing full time opportunity
Varied fitting, machining and repair work

THE ROLE:
Mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls
Rebuild and repair mechanical components and assemblies
Manual lathe machining
Dynamic balancing of rotating components
Welding and general fabrication
Inspection and fault finding of mechanical components




Maintain high quality and safety standards

ABOUT YOU:
Trade Qualified Fitter Machinist
Solid mechanical fitting and machining experience
Confident operating manual lathes
Welding experience
Experience with rotating equipment or mechanical repairs highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable with a strong commitment to safety
