Front of House Supervisor Role

Cultura Italian Bar & Restaurant are looking for someone to join their leadership team in a Front of House Supervisor role.

This role will begin as a permanent part-time contract offering a minimum engagement of 30 hours per week. The role will work closely with the hands-on ownership team, ensuring the smooth operation of service and the consistent experiences of our guests.

Cultura is open from Tuesday to Saturday, serving lunch, aperitivo and dinner. The role will have a adaptable roster consisting of day shifts and night shifts.

This role would be most suited to either someone looking to take the next step in their hospitality career or someone needing flexibility in their employment to work around family balance.

Duties include:
Working alongside the ownership team to ensure smooth operation of service
Waiting tables alongside other servers
Producing coffee
mixing cocktails and pouring wines
Taking payments and handling money
Ensuring venue hygiene is maintained to high working standards
Assisting with managing reservations
Controlling the set up and pack down of service

Responsibilities include:
Supervising and training junior staff
Self-motivate in a high-paced setting
Maintaining up-to-date menu knowledge
Uphold excellent customer service and hospitality standards
Create skilled relationships
Assist in opening and/or closing the venue

Requirements for the role include:
Relative amount of experience working in the local hospitality industry
Hold a current RSA certificate

The role is expected to commence at the beginning of September, starting with a three-week training period and contract commencement in the last week of September.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $65,000.00 per year
