We are seeking a dedicated and highly professional individual to join our organisation as a Shop Manager.
This position presents a valuable opportunity for an individual who demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, a commitment to operational excellence, and a desire to assume responsibility while developing a long‐term career with an industry‐leading business.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to)
Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail shop - opening and closing of shop
Lead, coach and motivate team members to achieve business objectives.
Achieve and increase sales, profitability and gross margin targets.
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Monitor and manage labour expenditure and operational costs.
Review advertising and promotional activities to maximise return on investment.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Manage product pricing to maximise profitability and competitiveness.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.




Maintain a productive and positive workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards.
Promote safe work practices, food safety compliance and environmental responsibility.
Ensure all employment matters are managed in accordance with the relevant Retail Award.
Required Skills (Must-haves)
Must have people development and training skills
Capability on increasing shop sales and profit
Familiar with stock control and ordering
Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Preferably with proven experience (at least 5 years) in managing a dynamic sales team, to resolve problems and improve systems.
Ability to motivate the team so that they strive to succeed
Always act as a professional and enthusiastic team member
Detailed knowledge of products for retail sale
Positive customer service skills and attitude
A sound knowledge of all Baiada guidelines and commitment to the values of the Company
