JR Richards & Sons is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join our Rutherford team.
Reporting to the General Manager - Central/Hunter Region, you will provide technical expertise in the assessment, treatment and management of hazardous and liquid waste streams.
Working closely with operational teams, you'll optimise treatment processes, support compliance requirements, drive continuous improvement initiatives and help deliver innovative waste management solutions.This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with business impact, playing a key role in improving operational performance while helping drive the future growth and development of our hazardous waste division.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess waste streams for treatment, recovery and disposalConduct waste classification, sampling and analysisMonitor and optimise treatment processesInvestigate process, environmental and equipment issuesReview data and identify improvement opportunitiesProvide technical advice on waste treatment and chemical handlingPrepare reports,



compliance documentation and customer solutionsSupport business improvement and resource recovery projectsAbout YouDegree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Science or a related disciplineExperience in hazardous waste, chemical processing, manufacturing or environmental operationsKnowledge of waste treatment, chemical handling and environmental complianceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCurrent Class C Driver LicenceWhy Join Us?
