If you're looking to join a progressive firm with strong systems and quality clients, this is an prospect not to be missed.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team in a full-time capacity.You will work closely with our Partners and Accountants while managing your own client portfolio.Your responsibilities will include:Preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)Bank and balance sheet reconciliationsPayroll processing and STP reportingSuperannuation processing and complianceAssisting with preparation of financial reportsLiaising directly with clients via phone,
email and meetingsAssisting clients with software queries & usageABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you must have:Minimum 2-3 years' experience in bookkeeping or public practice accounting within an Australian firmProven experience preparing and lodging BAS for multiple clientsStrong working knowledge of both Xero and MYOBAdditionally, you will have:Exceptional attention to detailStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple clients confidentlyA proactive and positive attitudeThe ability to work effectively within a teamExperience with Handisoft and other accounting software will be highly regarded.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary (based on experience)Salary packaging optionsOngoing training and professional development (seminars & webinars)Modern systems and technologySupportive management and team cultureQuality clients and a positive working environmentSTARTING DATEImmediate start is available but is negotiable with the successful candidate.
