About the role

Peabody is currently seeking ERZ Controllers to join our Centurion underground mine located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. Multiple roles are available in Outbye, Development and Longwall (on track to launch early).

Responsibilities
Perform statutory and compliance inspections in line with legislation and Centurion SHMS.
Ensure teams operate production processes and equipment safely.
Deliver maintenance schedules in accordance with statutory and site regulations.
Facilitate crew/shift communication sessions.
Achieve and drive agreed production targets safely.

Qualifications
Solid safety and risk‑management focus.
Effective communicator and team player.
Holder of a 3rd Class Managers Certificate of Competency or a Deputy’s Certificate of Competency.
Competent supervisory skills.
Proficiency in S1, S2, S3 and risk management and investigation.
Commitment to high performance standards.
