About the Role
Our client is seeking reliable team members to join their asphalt crews. Roles include:
Level hands
Paver operators
Full-time work is available for the right people, with regular overtime.
Team members will work across job sites on the Sunshine Coast and throughout regional South East Queensland. Shifts are usually day shift but may include early starts, afternoon shifts, or night work.
Duties may include:
Operating rollers, pavers, skid steer loaders, and other equipment
Raking, shovelling, sweeping, and lining out roads
Loading and unloading materials
Filling machines with water or fuel
Refilling water tanks on trucks
Drilling and cutting asphalt
Keeping job sites clean and safe
Helping prepare and secure loads
Working safely around asphalt machinery
Following daily instructions from supervisors
Taking part in toolbox talks and safety activities
About You
Our client is looking for people who have:
A Construction White Card (or ability to obtain one before starting)
A strong focus on safety
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Flexibility to work different shift times
A team-focused approach
Willingness to learn and improve skills
Highly desirable:
HR or HC truck licence (manual or automatic)
Experience in asphalt work or general labouring
Training and development will be provided, with the prospect to learn current skills and grow into other roles over time.
