We’re partnering with a major healthcare organisation delivering a large-scale hospital expansion and are now looking for an experienced Clinical Project Manager to support the setup and operational readiness of a newly expanded Emergency Department.
This role is focused on the clinical side of ED go-live. You’ll work alongside the Program Director and capital works team, taking ownership of clinical readiness, workforce coordination and safe activation of the service in a live hospital environment.
What you’ll do:
Lead clinical operational readiness for the Emergency Department setup and go-live
Coordinate clinical workflows, models of care and patient flow planning
Support commissioning and readiness activities to ensure protected, compliant activation
Work closely with ED clinicians, nursing leaders and operational teams
Coordinate workforce onboarding, training and credentialling for the expanded ED
Track risks,
dependencies and readiness activities across clinical workstreams
Support governance, reporting and issue management in the lead-up to go-live
Clinical background (e.g. nursing, allied health) or robust experience working directly with ED / acute clinical settings
Proven experience supporting ED, hospital or clinical service setup, expansion or transition
Solid understanding of patient flow, clinical operations and safety in emergency settings
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams
Someone calm, organised and comfortable operating in rapid-paced, high-pressure environments
If you’ve supported ED go-lives, clinical transitions or hospital expansions and enjoy being hands-on in the detail, I’d love to chat.
