and become a trusted connection between clients and the engineering team.Over time, you'll help shape how business development is approached within HDE and play an important role in the next phase of growth.Key Areas of ResponsibilityMarket Chance Identification and Strategic PlanningClient and Commercial ManagementQuoting and Tendering OpportunitiesMarket Representation and ReputationWhat You'll BringBuilding and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clientsIdentifying opportunities across local government, power generation, manufacturing and heavy industryProducing quotations and tender documents with internal engineering and drafting teamsSupporting clients throughout project delivery to encourage repeat workEnsuring opportunities align with business capability and commercial objectivesTravelling to sites within Central Queensland as requiredYou'll Succeed Here If...You have an engineering background (mechanical, structural or similar)You've worked within mining, power generation, manufacturing or heavy industry environmentsYou enjoy building relationships and developing trust with clientsYou have the ability to understand technical scopes and work with the engineering team during quotationsYou're self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of your workYou can communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhy Join HDE Engineers?
