We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and supporting a busy workplace.Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for payroll processing for the group of more than 350 employees accross multiple sites.
This is a hands on leadership role that will see you managing payroll operations while driving process improvements and supporting future business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesActing as the key point of contact for payroll enquiries and issue resolutionStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirement, awards and the National Employment StandardsCollaborating with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to meet payroll compliance requirementsProcessing employee timesheets across the group fortnightlyMaintain employee records, including assistance with onboarding and offboardingManage timesheets, leave balances, superannuation and payroll queriesAssist with payroll reporting and reconciliationsLiaise with external providers (super funds, payroll software support, etc.)Maintain accurate records and filing systemsAbout YouStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyConfident using payroll time sheeting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel essential)Knowledge of Tanda and Xero an advantageWell-organised with strong time management skillsProfessional communication skills and ability to deal with confidential informationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We OfferA supportive and friendly team environmentOpportunity to grow and develop within the businessCompetitive remuneration based on experienceStable and long-term role within an established organisationAbout KPAT HotelsFounded in **** by Kenneth Wagner, KPAT Hotels is building a portfolio of contemporary accommodation, restaurants, bars and pubs across Queensland.
