Secure Parking is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts within our Hospital Division.
This role ensures compliance with legal, commercial, and organisational requirements while driving risk management, cost control, and solid stakeholder relationships.You will manage car park service contracts, monitor performance against KPIs, and ensure services meet the needs of patients, visitors, and staff.
The role includes contract drafting and negotiation, revenue oversight, pricing approvals, audits, and reporting, as well as managing variations, renewals, and dispute resolution.You will also liaise with hospital departments, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Manage and administer car park service contracts with external operators and vendorsEnsure parking services meet the needs of patients, visitors, and staff,



including accessibility and emergency accessOversee revenue collection, reporting, and financial reconciliationReview and approve pricing structures, concessions, and permit systemsManage contract variations, extensions, renewals, and full contract lifecycleEnsure compliance with Australian regulations, hospital policies, and safety standardsCoordinate maintenance of parking equipment and systems (e.g., ticketing, boom gates, payment machines)Liaise with hospital departments including facilities, finance, security, and patient servicesConduct audits and prepare performance and financial reportsDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreementsMonitor contract performance against KPIs and implement value-for-money strategiesIdentify, assess, and mitigate contractual risksManage claims, disputes, and resolution processesMaintain accurate contract records and documentationAdvise on procurement systems and ensure compliance with procurement requirementsBuild and maintain supplier relationships to manage risk and maximise contract valueConduct market research to inform procurement strategy and contract improvementsLead contract reviews, renewals, and transition planning for expiring contractsEnsure compliance with government and disposal proceduresInterpret contract terms and ensure all parties understand their obligationsApply contract management best practices including variations, exemptions, and extensions managementAbout YouBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or related field5+ years' experience in contract managementExperience in infrastructure or IT projects (preferred)Strong knowledge of Australian Standard contractsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong commercial acumen and focus on efficiency and valueProficient in Microsoft OfficeMembership in professional bodies (desirable)
