Lead the accounts payable function and manage a payroll without spending three years as someone's backup first.You take ownership of AP from day one, leading a three-person offshore team in the Philippines, running payment cycles, and managing one of the two payrolls.
The business is a civil construction and infrastructure operator targeting 50 per cent growth over the next two years, restructuring the finance function into dedicated AP, AR, and financial accounting teams.
You work across transactional finance, payroll, compliance reporting, contract administration, and cashflow, preparing work to the point of final sign-off by the CFO and Financial Controller.
The business operates on EOS, shares full financial performance with all staff, and runs a share of EBITDA scheme for the finance team.
After probation you can work from home one to two days per week, and study support is available if you want to pursue CA or CPA.The role is genuinely transactional and hands-on.
You will complete data entry when the offshore team is unavailable, process payment runs, prepare payroll, and manage AP queries and supplier liaison.What you need:- Two to four years in a transactional finance or accounting role with solid exposure to accounts payable- Demonstrated leadership capability and confidence to manage a small offshore team- Genuine enjoyment of transactional work, including data entry and processing, and willingness to be hands-on in a environment
