"About UsGR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.The OpportunityWe are currently have opportunities for Electrical Supervisors to join our projects team across major long term projects across AustraliaAs a Electrical Supervisor you would report directly to the Construction Manager, and would provide Supervision of site employees including planning, monitoring,



problem solving and monitoring safety and standard compliance.This is an exciting time to join GRES as we are experiencing significant growth providing great opportunities for you to develop alongside us.Key Responsibilities of the roleEnforce protected work practices, ensuring that all personnel are adequately trained and supported and that HSE standards are metEnsure that the project is kept on schedule and within budgetSupervise and evaluate workmanship and qualityOversee construction, ensuring that it is in compliance with GRES standardsActively participate and lead by example "Secure Work Practices" and behaviourConduct safety tool box meetingsParticipate in hazard identification, assessment and implementation of controls as identified in the client risk assessment studyTake a lead role in incident management - notification, investigation and reportingTraining, coaching and competency assessment of personnel where applicableResponsible to ensure all site personnel comply with the site quality and environmental requirementsMonitor site activities in a way that minimises and controls pollution,



guards the environmentThat the management structures and resources provided for his / her area of responsibility are used effectively to provide compliance with legislation, regulations, codes of practice and national standards relating to safety, health, hazard and risk managementSkills/Qualifications: ( all essential )Electrical Trade certificateWhite CardMinimum 5 years' experience as Electrical Supervisor in the construction of mineral process plants.S26 Statutory Supervisor TrainingCurrent First Aid certificate with CPR & LVRCurrent Drivers LicenceCurrent National Police clearance within 6 monthsBe able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screenFull and unrestricted Australian working rightsHere at GRES, we offer:2x1 rosters ( FIFO from most australian capital cities)Good hourly rates along with weekly payComfortable site-based facilitiesWith over 800 employees across Australia and Internationally and growing, our focus is to create a rewarding working environment where you will be valued and appreciated for your knowledge, experience, and innovative mind.GRES specialise in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.Our services cover all aspects of a project life cycle from the initial evaluation and study phase through to design, constructions, commissioning and operational supportAs an equal opportunity employer, GRES is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, recognising that they enrich our collective knowledge, capabilities, and expertise.We actively encourage candidates with Defence experience to apply.
