We are proud to be one of the few leading international specialist environmental consultancies.Our Geospatial and Data Solutions team, have an opportunity for a Geospatial Analyst, a few years into their career to join our team.
This is a Full-Time role, with a preference to be based in our Brisbane or Newcastle office.Reporting to the Geospatial Manager, you will have the opportunity to progress in your expertise, working in a range of multidisciplinary environmental and sustainability projects.
Collaborating with the Practice Leader as well as Senior and Associate consultants both locally in Brisbane as well as across Australia and New Zealand to provide a high standard of advice and support.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical advice and support on geospatial concepts and data to multidisciplinary teams to support variety of environmental projectsCollaborate with local and regional team members to understand and deliver a high quality of work as per client requirementsUndertake data management, conversion, manipulation and visualisationUse and present spatial analysis to support decision makingPrepare high quality maps and figures for reporting purposesManage and develop online content, including web maps,



dashboards and mobile data collection applicationsBuild strong relationships across SLR's internal network to present as a trusted and reliable partner for all Geospatial mattersExperienceDegree in Geographics Information Systems or a similar qualification3-5 years' experience in a similar roleProficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Pro, QGIS and other GIS applicationsExperience with ESRI mobile applications Field Maps and Survey123Understanding of fundamental Geospatial concepts including coordinate systems, data formats and spatial analysis and geodatabase schemasKnowledge of computer aided drafting (CAD) software packages (desired not essential)Diverse project experience that can be applied across a range of project disciplines especially in Environmental Sciences and EcologyExcellent attention to detailHigh level of written and verbal communication skillsFull Work Rights in AustraliaWe are most proud of our diverse, friendly and expert team, who work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our teams and clients.
