July commencement for a 12 month opportunity.Hours and RateMonday-Friday $*****ph7.30am-3.30pmAbout the RoleReporting to the Logistics Manager, the Material Controller will be a part of a supportive logistics team focused on delivering outstanding results.Your contribution to the team includes:Inbound phone calls (both general line and for customer delivery/return bookings)Slot Manager and schedueling responsibilities (booking in couriers and customers inbound/outbound)Schedule trucking transportPurchase OrdersAd Hoc follow ups (invoicing/accounts)Actively communicate with customers and be the main point of contact for existing clients.Assist with the annual stock‐takes and periodical cyclic countsAbout YouFull working rightsIdeally logistics knowledge including transport scheduling.Technically astute with skills in Microsoft office 365 and all its necessary applications (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Experience in customer serviceStrong attention to detail and accurate Data Entry skillsExcellent communications skills, both written and verbalProactive and takes the initiative; possess a strong sense of urgency required in a fast-paced environment.Robust work ethics, open and reliableExcellent team player, willing to do what it takes to get the job done
