Naremburn, Sydney | Contractor | 1-2 days/week with growth as case load growsType: Independent ContractorLocation: Naremburn, Sydney (North Shore)Days: 1-2 days per week, with scope to growRate: Split percentage model; $150+ per hourClients: Private, NDIS, Medicare, DVAAbout the RoleSydney Neuropsych is a neuropsychology clinic on Sydney's North Shore, and we're looking for a Clinical Psychologist who is ready for more than just a standard caseload.This is a genuine opportunity to embed yourself early in a growing clinic; working alongside experienced neuropsychologists and building a meaningful practice within an environment that cares about its people and its clients, from assessment to ongoing care.In addition to general psychological therapy, you'll be picking up post-diagnostic therapy and ongoing psychological support for clients who have recently completed an assessment with us.Types of clients needing therapy include general anxiety/depression within the neurotypical population, in addition to therapeutic issues for older age clients and neurodiverse clients, and family members.
That means warm referrals, informed clients, and a ready-made pathway into a consistent caseload; without the grind of cold marketing yourself from scratch and all the admin that's involved.What You'll Be DoingProviding post-diagnostic therapy and psychological support for adults and children (6+) following an assessment with the Neuropsychology team, including ADHD and AutismSupporting clients navigating executive functioning, anxiety, adjustment, identity, and self-understanding following diagnosisWorking within a neuroaffirming, evidence-based framework alongside our neuropsychology teamContributing to the development of structured therapy programmes, family group offerings, and referral pathwaysEngaging with a diverse mix of private, NDIS, Medicare, and DVA clientsCollaborating on clinical decisions with the broader team, including intake and feedback processesWhat's on OfferContractor agreement with a percentage model split, commensurate with experienceConsistent,

Our practice is led by Dr Hannah Korrel, Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist, university lecturer, AHPRA approved supervisor, and previous clinical lead of the neuropsychological department of Northern Beaches Hospital, whose work is internationally recognised; including a citation in the DSM-5 for ADHD research, and recommended referrer of Professor Tony Attwood.We are a small and growing team that takes our clinical standards sincerely and our workplace culture even more so.
