Maintenance Technician - Property | HornsbyMaintenance Technician | Aged Care FacilitiesHornsby AreaWe are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join established residential aged care facilities across the Hornsby area.This is a hands‐on role suited to practical, reliable maintenance professionals who take pride in keeping buildings, grounds and equipment safe, functional and well presented.The RoleReporting to a Maintenance Area Lead, you will:Complete planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across buildings, grounds, plant and equipmentRespond to maintenance requests and effectively manage competing prioritiesIdentify maintenance and improvement requirementsComplete hands‐on maintenance tasks within your competency and approved scopeCoordinate external contractors for specialist or complex worksObtain quotations, facilitate site access and monitor contractor worksMaintain accurate maintenance and asset recordsSupport minor refurbishment, upgrade and capital works projectsComplete environmental, safety and compliance checks as requiredMinimise disruption and maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitorsMaintain safe, clean and operational work areasAbout YouTo be successful,



you will ideally bring:A current Driver LicenceA trade qualification or relevant technical certificationProven experience across general facilities, building or property maintenanceStrong practical problem‐solving skills and sound judgementThe ability to work independently and prioritise maintenance requestsExperience working with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholdersGood computer literacy and confidence using maintenance or asset management systemsStrong communication, organisation and time management skillsA practical understanding of safe work practices and compliance requirementsExperience within aged care, retirement living, healthcare or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.A Test and Tag Certificate and LR or higher Driver Licence would also be advantageous.What's On Offer?
