Our interstate and international relocations rely on precise planning, strong communication, and accurate system management to ensure containers move safely, efficiently, and on time.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scheduler (Linehaul) to support interstate container scheduling and depot operations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this on-site role is responsible for planning container movements between branches, coordinating road and rail linehaul services, managing wharf and rail bookings, and ensuring all WMS entries and documentation are completed accurately and on time.You will act as the primary customer contact following Coordination handover, providing updates, managing changes, and ensuring service delivery expectations are met.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational flow, minimising service delays, and ensuring compliance across container and scheduling activities.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their operational career within logistics and relocation, with clear pathways into Senior Scheduler and future Operations leadership roles.Some Of What You Will Be DoingPlan and arrange interstate container and linehaul movementsManage container in/out movements at depotCoordinate road, rail, and wharf bookingsUpdate and maintain accurate WMS and container scheduling recordsBrief and debrief crews, ensuring job documentation is complete and compliantLiaise with warehouse teams, contractors,
and crews on movements and complianceProvide proactive customer updates and manage service changesEscalate major delays or customer issues to the Operations ManagerAbout YouYou are organised, resilient, and thrive in a quick-paced operational environment.
You understand that successful scheduling requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm when priorities shift.You enjoy problem-solving and take pride in getting the details right - whether that's ensuring WMS accuracy, coordinating container movements, or managing last-minute changes.
You can balance customer expectations with operational realities and build positive working relationships with crews, warehouse teams, and contractors.You are dependable, punctual, and understand that reliable attendance is critical in an operations environment where customers and teams rely on your planning.What We Hope You Have0-2 years' experience in logistics, container control, warehousing,
