The Role
The College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Learning Enhancement Teacher to join the team in a full-time, 6‐month maternity leave contract commencing in Term 4, ****.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative and student‐centred team, supporting students with diverse learning needs to achieve success across Years 7–12.
Working as part of the Learning Enhancement team and Reporting to the Head of Learning Enhancement (Secondary) & Academic Talent Development (P-12), you will collaborate closely with teachers, students and families to deliver high‐quality educational support and differentiated learning programs.
You will play an important role in fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.All teaching staff at Coomera Anglican College are expected to contribute to the full life of the College, including active participation in pastoral care, sport, cocurricular programmes and special events.To be successful, you will:
Be a passionate and engaging educator with a commitment to inclusive education.
Demonstrate experience supporting students with diverse learning needs within a secondary school setting.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Be committed to building positive relationships with students, families, colleagues and the wider College community.
Embrace innovation and evidence‐based teaching practices to support student learning and wellbeing.
Be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries and standards when working with children and young people.
Qualifications and Requirements
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
Commitment to the Anglican ethos and active support for the values and culture of the College.
Previous experience in Learning Enhancement, Inclusive Education or Special Education is highly regarded.
