About the role

A Pick Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, and preparing food products for distribution while maintaining quality, safety, and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate is able to work in a quick-paced workplace, follow instructions carefully, and contribute to efficient daily production operations.

What you'll do
Picking and Packing dry and chilled product
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and report discrepancies
Select items from shelves based on order specifications, ensuring accuracy
Safely pack items for dispatch,



using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
Hand wrap pallets of products ready for dispatch
Create and attach labels to packages for easy identification.
Keep the work area organized and clean to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications
Previous pick and pack experience is not essential but highly regarded
Must be reliable, with an exceptional attitude towards safety and teamwork
Must be physically fit as vertical lifting (manual handling) is a component of this role
Proficient English (reading, written and spoken)
Must have valid right to work in Australia
Must be able to work, flexible with shifts
Strong understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
