Due to our growth, we are seeking an eager and passionate Construction Cadet to join our Cadet Program.
What You'll Be Doing:
Attending the Site to learn and assist
Communicating and negotiating with trades and suppliers
Picking up on and actioning issues before, when and after they arise
Regular Reporting and maintenance of records
Preparation of works orders and purchase orders
Preparation of Subcontracts
Taking minutes in meetings and following up on action items
Ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual OH&S; requirements
Working closely with supervisors and team
Administration as required and updating spreadsheets

What We're Looking For:
Trade background and working towards a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, or a related field.
Previous site-based construction experience, preferably in high-rise mixed-use residential projects
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders
