Greencross Pet Wellness Company – Ryde NSWAs an ESG Analyst, you play a hands‐on role in bringing our ESG strategy to life.
You turn data into insights that help the business reduce environmental impact, strengthen social outcomes, and meet evolving regulatory requirements.You work across teams to collect, validate, and translate data into clear reporting and practical actions.
A key part of the role is shaping how we tell our ESG story by turning complex information into simple, engaging insights that demonstrate progress.Your work spans emissions, energy, waste, and product lifecycle impacts.
You help the business understand its footprint and identify opportunities to improve.
Each day, you contribute to building a more sustainable and transparent organisation by strengthening how we track and communicate ESG performance.This is a role where you are not only reporting on performance, but actively helping to improve it.Your PurposeYour purpose is to support the delivery of the organisation's ESG strategy through reliable data, credible reporting, and continuous improvement.By turning ESG data such as emissions, energy use, waste, and lifecycle impacts into explicit insights, you help the business make informed decisions, meet compliance requirements, and achieve measurable sustainability outcomes.What You Will DoMap ESG Data and Insights • Map ESG data across the organisation, including emissions (Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3), energy use, waste, and product lifecycle dataCollect, validate, and analyse ESG metrics for internal and external reportingEstablish consistent data collection and governance processes to support accuracy and audit readinessBuild dashboards and visual tools that provide clear visibility of performance across carbon, energy, waste,
and lifecycle impactsReporting and DisclosurePrepare validated datasets for internal and external reportingAlign data outputs to reporting frameworks such as GRI, ISSB or IFRS, TCFD, and CDPMaintain reporting datasets and submission recordsEnsure consistency across reporting periodsSystems and Process ImprovementMaintain ESG systems, dashboards, and data platformsImprove processes to strengthen data quality across emissions, energy, waste, and lifecycle trackingSupport integration of ESG data into broader business systems and procurement processesCompliance and GovernanceSupport compliance with sustainability and climate‐related regulations, including emissions reporting.Maintain strong documentation and governance practicesEnsure all data is evidence‐based and ready for audit or regulatory reviewAbout YouYou are organised, detail focused, and proactive.

You are also comfortable working with different teams and contributing to a shared goal.Experience in ESG, sustainability, or a strong analytical background in finance or procurementStrong data analysis skills, ideally across emissions, energy, waste, or supply chain dataHigh attention to detail and structured approach to problem solvingStrong Excel capability and exposure to Power BI or similar tools, or willingness to learnGood communication and stakeholder engagement skillsUnderstanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability metrics,
