Davies Ross Consulting Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSWBe the Site Manager Lead a major Australian (Sydney) development from pre-construction through to completionFull ownership of the program, budget, project team and client relationshipEstablished Tier 2 builder with a strong pipeline of secured projectsSite Manager – Residential TowerBe the Site Manager Lead a major Australian (Sydney) development from pre-construction through to completionFull ownership of the program, budget, project team and client relationshipEstablished Tier 2 builder with a strong pipeline of secured projectsThe OpportunityThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a 400+ Unit mixed-use development before construction begins.You will join the project from the outset, allowing you to establish the construction strategy, sequencing, program and delivery team rather than inheriting decisions or delays from an existing project.Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the development from initial planning through construction, commissioning, occupation certification and final handover.The position offers genuine project ownership and the authority to make key delivery decisions, supported by an experienced senior management team and an established builder with a strong pipeline of High Rise Residential and mixed-use projects across Sydney.The ProjectThe development will comprise an 400+ Unit mixed-use building incorporating a substantial residential component and associated commercial space.It is a complex, high-profile project requiring strong leadership across design coordination, procurement, construction planning, commercial management and stakeholder engagement.As Site Manager, you will be involved from the early stages and will play a central role in determining how the project is structured,



resourced and delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage the construction strategy and master programLead the project from pre-construction through to final completionDrive programme and ensure trades are building as per design.Coordinate architects, consultants, authorities and other external stakeholdersManage the client relationship and provide clear, consistent project reportingIdentify and manage design, commercial, construction and program risksOversee subcontractor performance and maintain accountability across the projectEnsure the development is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standardsLead commissioning, occupation certification, handover and project close-outEssential ExperienceExtensive residential construction experienceA proven track record of successfully delivering major construction projectsStrong experience managing projects from commencement through to completionDemonstrated commercial, programming and project leadership capabilitiesExperience managing consultants, subcontractors, clients and internal project teamsPreferred ExperienceA background working with a comparable Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractorA minimum of 10 years' experience working in a Site Manager rolePrevious experience delivering large-scale apartment or mixed-use developmentsExperience joining a project during the pre-construction or early delivery stagesAbout the BusinessThe builder is an established Tier 2 contractor with a solid reputation in the delivery of high-density residential and mixed-use developments.The business has a healthy pipeline of secured work across Sydney and provides its Site Managers with genuine autonomy, direct access to senior leadership and the ability to shape their project teams.The company maintains a practical and commercially focused management structure, giving experienced Site Managers the support they need without unnecessary layers of reporting or approval.Why Consider This Role?
