You will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience to our guests, assisting with reception duties, and supporting the day-to-day operation of our café and bar at one of our locations.The successful candidate will be confident working with guests, have a positive attitude, and enjoy a role where no two days are exactly the same.About the RoleThis is a casual position offering approximately ***** hours per week, with shifts across two locations.Location 1 - Resort ReceptionGuest check-ins and check-outsAnswering guest enquiries and providing information about the resort and local areaManaging bookings, reservations and guest requestsAnswering phone calls and responding to emailsProcessing payments and maintaining accurate recordsAssisting guests with any questions or concernsMaintaining a professional and welcoming reception areaLocation 2 - Resort Reception, Café & BarAll resort reception duties listed aboveTaking café and bar ordersPreparing and serving beverages, including coffee and other drinksServing food and assisting with basic food preparation as requiredOperating the point-of-sale (POS) system and processing paymentsMaintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café and barRestocking supplies and monitoring inventoryEnsuring responsible service of alcohol requirements are followed,



where applicableKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide friendly, professional and personalised service to resort guestsManage guest arrivals, departures and general reception enquiriesProcess bookings, payments and transactions accuratelyAnswer telephone calls and respond to guest enquiriesHandle guest requests and resolve issues in a calm and professional mannerProvide information about resort facilities, services and local attractionsPrepare and serve café and bar productsTake orders and provide efficient table or counter service as requiredMaintain a clean, tidy and well-presented reception, café and bar environmentRestock products and supplies as neededFollow all workplace health and safety, food safety and operational proceduresWork collaboratively with other team members across both locationsAssist with general resort and hospitality duties as requiredAbout YouWe are looking for someone who:Has excellent customer service and communication skillsIs friendly, approachable and professionalIs reliable, punctual and well-presentedCan work independently as well as part of a teamIs comfortable working in a busy hospitality and guest-facing environmentHas good attention to detail and organisational skillsIs flexible and willing to work across two locationsCan confidently multitask and prioritise competing demandsHas a positive attitude and a willingness to learnPrevious experience in resort reception, hotel reception, hospitality, cafés or bars will be highly regarded, but we are also open to candidates with the right attitude and a strong commitment to customer service.Availability across weekdays, weekends and public holidays may be required.
