About the Role

As a Painting Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified and skilled painters, gaining valuable hands‑on experience, mentoring, and ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities
Carrying out measurements and basic calculations
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
Handling painting and decorating materials
Using painting and decorating tools and equipment
Removing and replacing doors, windows, and components
Preparing surfaces for painting
Applying paint using brushes and rollers
Applying textured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray

Requirements
A genuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
A White Card,



or the ability to obtain one as soon as possible
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
The ability to follow instructions and take direction
Trustworthiness and motivation
Preferred (but not essential): A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Preferred: Previous painting or construction‑related work experience
