Join Australia's leading energy supplier, specialising in the secure storage, distribution, and delivery of liquefied, medical, domestic, and industrial gases.This is an excellent opportunity to join a safety-focused and dynamic industrial environment, working within a professional and diverse team committed to quality and operational excellence.About the RoleAs a Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by conducting laboratory testing and supporting quality assurance processes.
Working closely with production, engineering, and HSE teams, you will help maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.What this means for you:Monday to Friday, 8-hour daysFlexible start and finish hours$*****/hour plus penalty rates for overtime12% SuperannuationWeekly PayrollKey ResponsibilitiesConduct chemical testing, analysis, and validation of gases and related products.Perform quality control checks in accordance with company standards and specifications.Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of product and process issues.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Calibrate, maintain, and validate laboratory equipment.Collaborate with production, engineering,



and HSE teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.About YouA Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (medical or biomedical degrees are not required, as this role is not focused on wet chemistry).
Previous experience in an industrial laboratory, manufacturing, chemical, or gas production environment is highly regarded.A strong understanding of laboratory procedures and quality management systems.Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.The ability to work safely while following strict compliance and operating procedures.A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol ScreenAble to produce a clean National Police ClearanceMust have full unrestricted working rights in AustraliaWithin 30 minutes of Wetherill Park due to traffic constraints and Fatigue ManagementPhysical RequirementsThis role involves a moderate level of manual handling, including the movement of gas cylinders, and requires the ability to work in an industrial laboratory environment.If you're looking to build your career with an industry leader that prioritises safety, quality, and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
