you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of clinical coding education, training and audit programs across WSLHD.
You will provide expert guidance on coding quality, documentation improvement, casemix optimisation and compliance with national coding standards while supporting the ongoing development of both trainee and experienced clinical coders.Key responsibilities include:Designing and delivering clinical coding education, auditing and quality improvement programs across the District.Analysing data from reporting and audit systems to identify coding risks, trends, opportunities and compliance issues.Mentoring and supporting clinical coders through education pathways, performance development and progression programs.Partnering with Clinical Documentation Specialists and clinicians to improve documentation quality and accurately reflect patient complexity.Providing expert advice on complex coding issues, coding standards, DRG assignment and Activity Based Funding outcomes.Ready to make a difference?
