We pride ourselves on guiding clients seamlessly from initial architectural concepts right through to the finished handover, ensuring every project respects and enhances the original home.As we enter our next phase of growth, our Director is stepping away from day-to-day project quoting and contract administration to focus entirely on business development, strategic expansion, and high-level growth.
Because of this, we are seeking a reliable, experienced professional to take full ownership of our front-end operations—guiding clients from their initial design inquiry to a signed construction contract—while serving as a leadership anchor for our tight-knit team.This role bridges the gap between our clients, the Director's growth strategies, and our site delivery.
While it is primarily a clean, office-based role, you will be the absolute face of the business for new clients and the engine room for our project administration.
Beyond sales and contracts, you will act as a vital leader and point of contact for our two Site Supervisors and our Apprentice, ensuring seamless communication as projects transition from the contract stage to active construction.Your time will be split between client consultation, site visits for initial inquiries, conceptual quoting, contract management, and internal team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Consultation: Respond to inbound inquiries, conduct initial on-site visits to discuss extension/renovation goals, and walk prospective clients through our custom Design & Construct process.Contract Administration: Prepare standard building contracts (e.g., HIA/Master Builders), manage variations,



process progress claims, and guide clients through the pre-construction phase (including working alongside designers/architects, managing council approvals, engineering, and selections).
Estimating & Quoting: Read architectural plans, complete material take-offs, and calculate accurate preliminary and final costs for complex structural extensions and custom renovations.Team Leadership: Act as the primary internal leader and operational support for our two Site Supervisors and Apprentice, ensuring they have the paperwork, variations, and contract clarity they need to successfully execute the designed plans on-site.About YouThis role is perfect for a former carpenter, builder, estimator, or experienced construction manager who thoroughly understands residential structural work, but wants to transition into a leadership, sales, and office-bound career.To be successful, you must have:Industry Experience: Proven background in Australian residential building, specifically structural extensions and detailed, sympathetic renovations.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the NCC, Australian Building Standards, QBCC Licensing and Contract management.Leadership Skills: A natural ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively with site-based staff (supervisors and apprentices).
