Operate and Assist We have an opportunity for a Quarry Operator to join our team at Clarence Quarry located within the Blue Mountains near Lithgow, New South Wales.
Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor this is a permanent full time role, working Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and potential Saturday work.
We are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as be willing and able to work a varied role in sand washing plant operations and general maintenance activities.In your new role with us, you will:Operate mobile equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and ExcavatorsOperate the sand washing plantGeneral fixed plant inspections & maintenanceDuring busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where neededThis role is a great fit for you if you have:Valid tickets and experience (preferred) operating a Loader, Dump Truck and ExcavatorTotal commitment to Zero Harm and Safety LeadershipStrict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance proceduresAbility to work in a small team and unsupervisedProfessional work ethic with a "can do" attitudeWhat we offer:Base hourly rate from $***** and up to $***** – pending qualifications & experience + overtime rates + superShifts start at 6am and working 8-10 hours, on average.
