Technical Lead

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid / 3 days in office)
Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical direction and hands‑on delivery of platform development projects.
Oversee architecture, design, and implementation of distributed, API‑driven systems.
Collaborate closely with product and delivery teams to define roadmaps, priorities, and timelines.
Champion up-to-date engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable infrastructure design.
Mentor and upskill engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and quality.
Ensure all solutions meet security, performance, and maintainability standards.

About You
5+ years’ experience in software engineering, with at least 2 in a technical leadership role.
Strong technical capability in Go, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines for scalable applications.




Proven experience in designing and implementing event‑driven systems for real‑time transactions.
Designed and maintained Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts under GitOps pipelines.
Experience designing and managing microservices, event‑driven systems, and API integrations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
Strong commercial mindset — capable of balancing technical excellence with delivery impact.
