This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about women's fashion, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys turning ideas into products customers love to wear.What You'll Be DoingYou'll be involved throughout the complete product development lifecycle across multiple women's fashion brands.Your responsibilities will include:Research global fashion, colour, fabric and lifestyle trendsDesign commercially successful women's apparel collections across multiple product categoriesDevelop seasonal concepts, prints, colour palettes and trend directionCreate CADs, colourways and presentation boards using Adobe IllustratorPrepare detailed tech packs, garment specifications and measurement chartsBuild and maintain Excel range plans, costing sheets and product informationSource fabrics, trims, washes and finishes to achieve customer expectations and target price pointsLiaise daily with offshore suppliers throughout product developmentManage sample development, fittings, approvals and critical path timelinesCollaborate closely with Sales and Production teams to deliver customer briefsAssist with product selection and range building based on commercial trendsMaintain accurate product development records and seasonal documentationEnsure products meet quality,



fit and delivery standards while achieving production timelinesAbout YouYou have a genuine passion for fashion and understand how to translate trends into commercially successful products.You'll bring:2+ years' experience in Fashion Product Development, Fashion Design, Buying or a similar roleStrong commercial handwriting with an understanding of the Australian fashion marketExcellent Adobe Illustrator skills (essential)Adobe Photoshop experienceExperience creating CADs, technical specifications and tech packsStrong understanding of garment construction, fit and fabricationIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience working with offshore manufacturersStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsHigh attention to detail and problem-solving abilityFashion Design, Buying & Merchandising or related qualification (preferred)Highly RegardedExperience working with Australian fashion wholesalers or major retailersKnowledge of woven and knit apparelPrint, textile or graphic design experienceExperience with private label product developmentUnderstanding of costing and margin managementWhy Join Global Fashion House?
