Together, we want to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.About The RoleStep into a rewarding role as a Nursing Assistant where you will bring excellent customer-facing skills and a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors.You will play a key role in supporting our donors through their donation process.
Full training is provided so, along with the above, all you need is the curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product.A day in the centre could see you:Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donateCreate a donor experience they'll love and want to come back Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin testsSet up machines and collections equipmentInsert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and plateletsMonitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donationWork collaboratively to achieve collection targetsRegular regional travel is a key requirement of this role, with travel across Victoria's East including Sale, Warragul, Leongatha, Bairnsdale, Wonthaggi, Rosebud and Benalla.
Travel typically occurs once per month which includes overnight stays of 3 nights during the week (Tuesday - Friday).
