The Clinical Managers coordinate service delivery and patient flow through the Wollongong Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
This involves careful communication and coordination of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient assessment and treatment is conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
The Clinical Manager is the expert resource for other nursing staff within the ICU/HDU, providing supervision, support and guidance to nursing staff in relation to care of the patient in the unit.
This temporary position supports career progression and leadership skill development.
A Clinical Manager portfolio will be allocated to training position in alignment with role progression.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500.
The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
Wollongong is located an hour's drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east and the Illawarra Escarpment to the west.

Current AHPRA Registration
Relevant post graduate qualifications in Critical Care, relevant work experience or combination of work experience.
Valid NSW Drivers Licence
This is a temporary leave relief position until 14 February **** with the possibility of extension.
