You will partner closely with Brand and Marketing to translate creative vision into commercially effective design, QA the front-end against your specifications, and use AI-powered design tools to move at pace without sacrificing craft.The project is real, the timeline is tight, and the impact will be visible globally.
If you are a commercially minded UX/UI designer who blends solid craft with data-driven thinking — and you are fluent with the latest AI design tools — this is six months worth having.What You Will OwnDesign System Ownership Build and maintain a scalable component library, patterns, tokens and documentation — producing clear specifications that developers can build from without ambiguity.Mock-ups, Prototypes & Iteration Create and refine high-fidelity designs throughout the project — using AI-powered tools to accelerate exploration and produce interactive prototypes for rapid validation.Brand & Marketing Partnership Translate brand guidelines and campaign objectives into cohesive website design — aligning on content requirements and resolving trade-offs between creative ambition and commercial performance.Agile Squad Delivery Participate in Agile ceremonies, coordinate closely with developers, QA the front-end against designs, and unblock the team so design intent is preserved in production.Customer Journey & CRO Analyse GA4, heatmaps and session recordings to identify friction, design and prioritise A/B tests,



and feed conversion learnings back into the design system and roadmap.Who You AreYou are a UX/UI designer who moves fast, thinks commercially, and takes genuine pride in the quality of what ships.We're offering a6-month full-time contract based onsite at our Design and Support Centre in Turrella.You will likely come from a UX/UI, experience design or CRO background within a commercially driven eCommerce or digital retail environment.
What matters most is your ability to own the design system, collaborate deeply with developers, and deliver experiences that are as commercially effective as they are beautiful.5+ years in UX, experience design, or CRO within eCommerce or digital retail — with demonstrable commercial outcomes including conversion lifts and revenue impactFluency with AI-powered design and productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, v0, Bolt, Lovable, Midjourney or equivalent) — active daily use, not just awarenessData-driven mindset — comfortable with GA4, heatmaps and session recordings, and able to translate data into actionable insight and run A/B testsProven experience briefing development teams with annotated prototypes and acceptance criteriaExcellent stakeholder communication skills — confident presenting to C-suite, challenging assumptions and building consensus across Marketing, Retail, Tech and BrandExperience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and/or Shopify desirableFamiliarity with headless CMS such as Contentful desirableBackground in furniture, luxury or considered-purchase retail is advantageousWhy People Join King Living — And StayAn Iconic Australian Brand Since ****,
