We work with government, education, aged care, and major FM contractors, and we're known for reliable service and solid client relationships.We're now looking for a Service Manager to lead our service department and take it to the next level.The RoleThis is a senior operational and commercial leadership position.
You'll have full accountability for the service department, including two office-based coordinators and all field technicians across our Sydney and Wollongong operations.This isn't a purely operational role.
We want someone who thinks commercially, drives growth, and uses the tools available, primarily SimPro, to identify opportunities, improve processes, and get the best out of the team.If you're the type of leader who gets results through people, holds high standards, and knows how to build a service business from the inside out, this is the role for you.What You'll Be Responsible ForLeading and developing a team of coordinators and field techniciansOverseeing daily service delivery across reactive, PPM, warranty, and quoted worksDriving revenue growth from the existing customer base through additional works, upgrades, and PPM conversionsOwning the PPM program,



including scheduling, client communication, FY repair approvals, and contract performanceMaximising warranty cost recovery and managing the warranty process end to endUsing SimPro to manage job costing, WIP, quoting, asset tracking, and performance reportingImplementing structured technician training and development plansProtecting margins, managing WIP, and ensuring timely invoicing across all worksActing as the escalation point for client issues and ensuring high service standards across the boardWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in a service management or senior supervisory role within HVAC, mechanical services, or a similar trade environmentA track record of leading both office and field teams simultaneouslyStrong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert revenue opportunitiesSolid working knowledge of SimPro or a comparable job management platformSound understanding of PPM contract management and deliveryTrade qualification in HVAC/Refrigeration or Electrical preferredCurrent full Australian driver's licenceCalm under pressure, solutions-focused, and leads by exampleWhat's On OfferA senior leadership role with real ownership and autonomyA growing business with strong clients and a solid pipelineSupportive management team and clear reporting structureCompetitive salary package based on experience
