Spencer Health is a national health organization focusing on the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, families and adults.
We have a special interest in Neurodivergent presentations supporting children and adults presenting with ADHD and Autism in a neuroaffirming way.Our team provides services to Hornsby, Gladesville, Mosmanand surrounding suburbs of the North Shore, Northern Beaches, and Melbourne CBD.
Spencer Health's team is made up of clinical psychologists and registrars, registered psychologists, provisional psychologists, paediatricians, speech pathologist, art therapists and an amazing administration team.
Our Organisation is well known as a"CentreOf Excellence" and is proud to be an employer of choice.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous Administration Assistant to join our Mosman team full-time.
This is an exciting and varied role that includes front-of-house reception duties and general admin support for our clinicians.You will be primarily based in Mosman but must be flexible and willing to provide coverage at our other locations (e.g., Hornsby) in the event of annual or sick leave.This role suits someone who is friendly, adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic and team-oriented healthcare setting.Key ResponsibilitiesFront desk reception: welcoming clients,
managing phone and email enquiriesScheduling appointments and managing clinician diariesProviding administrative support to psychologists, paediatricians, and art therapistsProcessing payments, Medicare claiming, and invoicingLiaising with families and referrers in a professional and compassionate mannerMaintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentialitySupporting smooth daily operations across sites when requiredWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in administration or reception, ideally in a healthcare or allied health settingExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesConfident using Microsoft Office and clinical software systemsA warm and professional manner when liaising with families and childrenWillingness to travel to other sites occasionally, depending on resourcing needsUnderstanding of neurodivergence and/or experience working in a child or mental health settingFamiliarity with Medicare billing and NDIS processesFamiliarity with Halaxy (or similar practice management software)Experience supporting allied health or medical professionalsWhy Join Us?
