Vision 2020 Hotel Group Pty Ltd is a leading hotel group in Geraldton, WA, Australia. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pastrycook to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $78000 to $80000, plus superannuation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a busy pastry kitchen and hold a Certificate 3 or above in pastry or baking. As a Pastrycook, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastry goods, including pies, quiches, sweet tarts, slices, bar cakes and other baked products for our Hightea, functions and weddings.

Key responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of pastry goods according to recipes and standards set by the company
Ensure all products are made with high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen




Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Assist with menu planning and development of new pastry items
Train and mentor junior pastry staff
Keep updated with industry trends and techniques

Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months experience in a busy pastry kitchen
Certificate 3 or above in pastry or baking
Robust knowledge of pastry techniques and recipes
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple tasks at once
Attention to detail and passion for creating high-quality pastry products
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
