If you are a reliable and safety-focused operator who takes pride in transporting heavy machinery efficiently and securely, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable local contractor.Role Overview:You will be responsible for transporting plant and equipment to and from civil project sites, ensuring protected loading, unloading, and delivery while maintaining compliance with all transport regulations and company standards.What You'll Be Doing:Operating float trucks to transport civil machinery and equipment between sitesSafely loading and unloading plant, including excavators, rollers,



and other machinerySecuring loads in accordance with industry and safety regulationsPlanning travel routes and managing delivery schedulesConducting daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenanceMaintaining cleanliness and serviceability of the vehicleComplying with all Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirementsCompleting all required documentation including logbooks, pre-starts, and delivery docketsJob Requirements:Demonstrated experience operating float trucks transporting heavy machineryValid MC driver's licence (minimum requirement)Proven ability to safely load, restrain, and transport plant equipmentStrong understanding of transport compliance and fatigue managementAbility to work independently and as part of a team
