Healthe Care Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Electrophysiologist (EP) Technician to join our medical team in North Gosford, NSW.
This is a part-time position that offers flexibility, whilst contributing to the delivery of specialist cardiac care.
As a Cardiac EP Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our electrophysiology department, working alongside consultants and the broader cardiac care team to provide high-quality patient services.
This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of EP procedures and the provision of safe, effective cardiac care to our patients.What you'll be doingAssisting consultants during electrophysiology procedures, including diagnostic studies and catheter ablationPreparing and maintaining electrophysiology equipment and ensuring all devices are functioning correctly and safelyMonitoring and recording cardiac rhythms and electrogram data during proceduresProviding technical support and troubleshooting during complex cardiac interventionsMaintaining accurate and comprehensive procedural records and patient documentationEnsuring compliance with infection control protocols and maintaining a sterile field during proceduresCommunicating effectively with the clinical team to support optimal patient outcomesAssisting with the setup, calibration and maintenance of specialist EP mapping and monitoring systemsSupporting patient care and comfort throughout proceduresWhat we're looking forFormal qualification as a Cardiac Technician or Electrophysiology Technician, or equivalent experience in a cardiac environmentProven experience working in an electrophysiology laboratory or interventional cardiology settingStrong technical knowledge of EP equipment, mapping systems and cardiac devicesUnderstanding of cardiac arrhythmias,



EP procedures and relevant cardiac anatomyExcellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressureStrong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with medical consultants and nursing staffCommitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safetyCurrent or willingness to obtain relevant certifications (such as CEPIA or equivalent)Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in accordance with healthcare legislation and standardsWhat we offerGosford Private Hospital is committed to providing our team members with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
