Keep Operations Moving.Metroll Lismore is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Control & Inventory Coordinator to join our operations team.Metroll is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of roofing, cladding, rainwater, and steel building products.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production, and ensuring our customers receive the right products on time.About the RoleReporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy across the site, coordinating stocktakes, investigating discrepancies, and supporting the smooth flow of materials throughout the business.Working closely with production, purchasing, warehouse, and dispatch teams, you'll ensure inventory records remain accurate and reliable while identifying opportunities to improve stock control processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage inventory levels and maintain accurate stock recordsPlan and coordinate scheduled and cyclical stocktakesInvestigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actionsReconcile inventory movements within the ERP systemMonitor stock levels and work with purchasing to maintain appropriate inventoryEnsure raw materials and finished goods are accurately receipted and recordedSupport production and warehouse teams with inventory enquiriesAnalyse inventory data and prepare stock control reportsIdentify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse processesEnsure compliance with company procedures and inventory control standardsAssist with month-end and year-end stock reconciliationsMaintain a safe, organised,
and effective warehouse environmentAbout YouYou're highly organised, analytical, and enjoy working with data while staying connected to day-to-day operations.You'll bring:Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration, or a similar roleExperience coordinating stocktakes and inventory reconciliationsStrong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracyExperience using ERP or inventory management systemsIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departmentsA proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvementExperience within manufacturing, steel, building products, or industrial environments will be highly regardedWhy Join Metroll?
