The Bennett Hotel is looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
This role suits an experienced chef who's confident running sections during busy service — particularly pans and grill — and comfortable moving across prep, larder, and other areas of the kitchen as needed.
Working alongside our Head Chef and senior kitchen team, you'll join a well-established venue known for its strong team culture, quality food, and supportive working environment.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Running sections, including pans and grill, during service
Working flexibly across prep, larder, and other sections as required
Preparing and plating dishes to a high, consistent standard
Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen brigade during service
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workstation
Upholding food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards
Contributing positively to team culture and the overall kitchen environment
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:




Has solid experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Is confident across multiple sections, particularly grill and pans
Performs well under pressure while maintaining consistency and composure
Is reliable, adaptable, and works well as part of a teamCommunicates well and brings a positive attitude to every shift
Takes pride in quality food, presentation, and clean execution
Holds full Australian working rights
